In a post on the Playstation Blog, Sony has announced the free titles coming to Playstation Plus members in March. Headlining the lineup is the PS4 exclusive Bloodborne, the horror-themed action RPG developed by From Software. Joining Bloodborne is the PS4 game Ratchet & Clank, which is part of the hit franchise developed by Insomniac Games. PS3 owners will be able to grab the Legend of Kay, and Mighty No. 9 starting next month, and Vita owners can pick up Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters. Mighty No. 9, Claire: Extended Cut and Bombing Busters will all be available on PS4 via their cross buy system. Alongside those free titles, PS4 players can grab the PS Plus pack for Dungeon Defenders II, which grants players a multitude of goodies such as gold and an in-game pet.
Bad news for Vita and PS3 fans however as this will be the last year Sony offers free Playstaion Plus titles on PS3 and Vita because they also announced that starting March 8, 2019, they will be dialling back support of PS Plus on PS3 and Vita to focus exclusively on the PS4. Fret not you can still play the free games you have acquired on those consoles as long as you remain a member, they just won’t be adding any more free games to the list after that date.
